Skateboarding

Skateboarding, colloquially called skate, is a sport that consists of sliding on a skateboard and at the same time being able to perform various tricks, most of them raising the board off the ground, doing pirouettes with it in the air.   It is practiced with a skateboard, a flat wooden board bent at the ends that has two axles and four wheels, with two bearings on each of its four wheels, preferably on a flat surface, anywhere where it can be rolled, either on the street or in skate parks. In fact, in quite a few competitions, there are two more widespread categories: street and vert (ramp).   On August 3, 2016, the International Olympic Committee approved the incorporation of skateboarding for the next Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
